CPT Chris Johnson

Captain Christopher Johnson is an accomplished Field Artillery Officer who commissioned in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Prairie View A&M and a Master of Arts from Webster University. CPT Johnson has served in various leadership roles, including Company Commander and Fire Support Officer, and is currently an Observer Coach/Trainer at Camp Shelby, MS. His military education includes the Field Artillery Captains Career Course, and he has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, among other decorations.

LTC (R) Ronald Young

BS Mechanical Engineering '81

LTC (R) Ronald Young is a retired Army officer and engineer with a BSME from Prairie View A&M University. He has held multiple leadership roles, including his current position at the Pentagon, managing large-scale construction projects and securing funding to improve the quality of life for service members.

CPT Alexus Hardin

BS Criminal Justice '15

Captain Alexus N. Hardin, a Prairie View A&M University graduate, began her distinguished military career in the Military Police Corps in May 2016. She has held numerous leadership positions, including Provost Marshal for the 4th Expeditionary Sustainment Command. A graduate of the Military Police Captain’s Career Course, her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

MAJ (R) Christopher S. Bizor is a retired Army Signal Corps officer and a Prairie View A&M University alumnus. He served for 20 years, holding various leadership roles including his final assignment as the USARCENT G6 Operations Planner.

Major Furaha Mujacera, a Prairie View A&M University graduate, is experienced supply chain professional with 15 years in operations, logistics, and inventory management. Proven leader in government operations, managing over 2,200 employees and a biennial budget exceeding $400 million. Skilled in strategic financial management, consensus building, and public relations, with extensive experience presenting to diverse audiences.

MAJ Ariel Hall

BS Criminal Justice '13

Major Ariel S. Hall enlisted in the Texas Army National Guard in 2008 and commissioned as an officer in 2013 after graduating from Prairie View A&M University. Her career includes deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait, and she commanded the Little Rock Recruiting Company. A graduate of The Army Airborne School, Major Hall's awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

CPT Reyna Cruz

BS Psychology '12

Captain Reyna Cruz began her military career by enlisting in the Army, later commissioning as an officer in 2012. Her career includes deployments for both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. A former Commander of the 25th Infantry Division Band, her awards include the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

BG James Porter

BA Business Administration '93

Brigadier General James F. Porter currently serves as the Deputy Commanding General-Support for the 99th Readiness Division. Commissioned in 1993, he has commanded multiple units, including the 304th Sustainment Brigade, and has deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His awards include the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal. He holds a master's degree from the U.S. Army War College.

MAJ Christina Mathis

Class of '10

Major Christina L. Mathis commissioned in 2010 through the ROTC program at Prairie View A&M University. She has held several leadership roles, including Battalion S-6 and S-3 Plans Officer, and is currently an Information Warfare Training and Operations Officer in FORSCOM. Her awards include the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.

COL (R) James Kirkwood

BS Mathematics '71

Colonel James E. Kirkwood, a 1971 graduate of Prairie View A&M College, was the first Army Four-Year Scholarship recipient to be commissioned from the university. During his 28-year career, he served in various roles, including Infantry Platoon Leader and Associate Chief Information Officer for the U.S. Army Reserves. A graduate of the Army War College, his awards include the Legion of Merit and the Expert Infantry Badge. He retired in April 2000.

MAJ Randall Zeno

BS Agricultural Economics '10

Major Zeno is an Executive Officer for the 3rd Battalion, 349th Regiment. A graduate of Prairie View A&M University, he has served 13 years in the Army Reserve. His career includes deployments to Kuwait and Afghanistan, and he has been recognized with the Afghanistan Campaign Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

MAJ Victoria Jones

BS Nursing '12

Major Victoria A. Jones, a 2012 graduate of Prairie View A&M University, began her career as a commissioned officer and nurse. She has held various roles, including Clinical Staff Nurse and Aide-de-Camp to the Regional Health Command-Pacific Commanding General. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Expert Field Medical Badge.

Colonel Eric Jackson, a 1993 graduate of Prairie View A&M University, is the Force Sustainment Division Chief for the U.S. Army's Human Resources Command. He has commanded multiple units, including a company in the 82nd Airborne Division and a brigade in Korea. His awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and Bronze Star.

Colonel Angela L. Stamps is a decorated U.S. Army officer. She was commissioned in 2000 and holds degrees from Prairie View A&M University and Webster University. Her career includes extensive leadership roles, command positions in Iraq, and expertise in defense acquisition. She currently serves as the Director of the Mission Command Requirements Division at Fort Moore, Georgia, and has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal.

CPT Scott Facyson

BA History '13

Captain Scott B. Facyson, a 2013 graduate of Prairie View A&M University, began his career in the Texas Army National Guard. He deployed to Kuwait and Jordan in 2015. As commander of the 249th Transportation Company, he was involved in operations ranging from responding to the January 6th insurrection to border missions. His awards include the Army Commendation Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Medal.

MAJ Deidra Carter

BS Nutrition Science '10

Major Deidra M. Carter enlisted in the Army in 2006 and was commissioned as an officer in 2010. She is currently the Chief of Patient Administration for the Human Resources Command Surgeon Office. Her career includes a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal and the Air Assault Badge.

CPT Damien Riggins

Class of '11

Captain Damien A. Riggins, a 2011 graduate of Prairie View A&M University, began his career in the Engineer Corps and later transitioned to a Public Affairs Officer in the Army Reserve. His career includes deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and the Arabian peninsula. His awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

CH COL (R) B. Gregory Edison

BA Business Administration '89

Colonel B. Gregory Edison, a pioneering alumnus who first commissioned Infantry before becoming an Army Chaplain and serving as Cadet Battalion Commander in 1989, retired in 2023. As the former Command Chaplain for TRADOC, he holds multiple degrees, including a Doctorate of Ministry, and is endorsed by the National Baptist Convention USA. His distinguished career included extensive leadership and chaplaincy roles across various commands, culminating in numerous awards such as the Legion of Merit.
